Hi I had my daughter 10-29-16 I claimed her as a dependent but I got nothing back for her when I was told if I had her by December 31st I could claim her & get money back

Go back to the Dependents section and correct your answer to say she lived with you all year. That's the correct answer for a newborn who came home from the hospital and lived with you for the rest of the year.

Click on the Personal Info tab and scroll down to the dependents section to edit her.  Go back though the interview until you can change this answer.
