Disregard my last response.  After digging deeper I found that any excess Dependent Care Benefits above the exclusion amount are already included in Boxes 1, 3 and 5 on the W2 so they are already taxed

Check your W-2 entries. The amount on Form 2441 line 12 will generally match the amount reported in W-2 Box 10. Amounts you received as an employee should be shown in box 10 of your Form(s) W-2.

This amount gets subtracted from the amount of dependent care benefits you can use for the credit because the W-2 Box 10 amount was a pre-tax deduction from your wages.

Thanks. I double checked the w2 input and I posted $5750.  Form 2441 only shows $5250 on line 12.  I should be taxed on the excess amount but since form 2441 isn’t picking up correct amount that isn’t happening.  I suspect a software issue but have no idea how to contact technical support.  I have in years past but can’t seem to find the right avenue to do that this year
