foreign income

I received income from an IRA in Puerto Rico. Do I need to report that income as an income received from a foreign country?

Yes, you would need to indicate that the payer has a foreign address. If you don't have a Form 1099-R, you would still enter the information under Retirement Plans and Social Security. If the payer has a Federal ID number, you would enter that also.

Here are instructions on entering a 1099-R. If you do not have one, enter the information that matches the categories.
