That's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online.
I used a copy on Turbotax 2018 downloaded from Amazon. The final electronic filing was done through Turbotax. Don't they save a Tax2018 file that I can access in my Turbotax online account.
I've already tried the "TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's". My sign information and email address has not changed.
Sorry no. If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is saved on your computer even if you efiled it. You should have a pdf file on your computer and saved to your backups. If you don't have the pdf file you also have the data file ending in .tax2018. Search your whole computer for the pdf and/or all files ending in .tax or .tax2018. They should be in your Documents then in a Turbo Tax folder. Did you use Windows or Mac?
If you just cannot locate the tax file on your hard drive then you can either get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $50 you can get an exact copy of the tax return from the IRS.
You can get a free transcript from the IRS:

Thanks for the replies. I think this is solved now. I thought I had backed up my PDF and TAX2018 files to an offline hard drive. I deleted Turbotax software and those files off of my main computer. Fortunately I did make a hard copy. I was hoping when I e-filed through Turbotax that they would have saved those files. Apparently that's not the case. Just would've made it easier this next year for all the carry over tax info. Will now have to input manually.
