File before 4/15 but make payment later?

I have till 6/17 to file my taxes since my county was affected by severe storms and flooding that began on January 21.  I do not mind filing now but would not want to make my payment until 6/17.  If I file now, TurboTax does not seem to allow me to schedule my payment for later than 4/15, so is there a workaround or is my only option to wait till 6/17 to file?  Thank you.

When you are at the end you can select pay by check.  Then you can pay directly via the IRS website which is the recommended way or you can pay by check.  Be sure to include your SSN on your check and the tax year. Paying on the IRS website will allow you to be sure you are making the payment on the day you want to make the payment.
