I need to file as head of household but there's no option to click head of household, where can I find it to claim it?

If you selected Single or Married filing separately then as soon as you add a qualifying dependent it will automatically switch you to Head of Household.  If you are married you had to live apart for the last 6 months of the year.

Does that mean instead of saying filing Single it will say Head of Household? Mine doesn't.

When you fill out the Personal Info section of TurboTax, TurboTax will determine whether or not your situation qualifies for Head of Household. You can double check this section to make sure that all of the information has been entered correctly.

To qualify as Head of Household, you must meet the following requirements: 

• Pay for more than half of the household expenses
• Be considered unmarried for the tax year, and
• You must have a qualifying child or dependent.
