You would need to contact the IRS again to find out exactly which documents they are requesting from you. Your 1040 is the form that all of your income, deductions, credits, and dependents would be listed on. If you have a very simple return with only W2 wages and no other documents that you enter into your return, then you these may be the only documents they are asking for, or they could be looking for 1099's, 1098's, a 1095-A or something else entirely.
There is not a standard answer to this question, so they would be the best ones to ask what they requested from you.
