Failure of TurboTax to detect previous tax returns

I just installed TurboTax and began my return. Unlike previous versions, this one fails to detect previous TurboTax returns on the same computer. This annoying outcome prevents comparison with previous year's responses. Is there a "fix" for this problem?

You will need to locate the tax data file that has been saved on your local drive. Please see the instruction in the link to transfer your information into the 2019 desktop program.
