Fails to import 2023 H&R Block pdf file

I updated the software to Dec 19, 2024. 

I tried to import my 2023 H&R Block pdf file and it failed. 

Couldn't even import name , address, etc..   totally useless. 

I see people have reported this didn't work last year either to import H&R Block files.  

Will it ever be fixed ? 

Be prepared to type in everything as import does not work.  

I will buy H&R Block software to do other people's returns so I can import at least it only costs $15.

A 2023 PDF transfer works on my 2024 TurboTax Premier edition for Windows.

You need the tax file in order to transfer 2023 information in to a 2024 return.  A pdf will not transfer very much at all except for some personal information like name, address, SSN, etc.

I am having the same issue. I am using Premier edition. Any workarounds other than typing the data. Thanks

I'm having the same issue and I'm not happy. This is going to take forever trying to complete several business tax returns. The whole purpose of sticking with one tax software vendor is to import previous years data when needed. This lets me know that the software for 2023 is corrupt and no one has thought to fix the bug or try to issue refunds to the customers that purchased the software. I really hope this is the last year for everyone submitting tax returns.
