Excess Social Security from Multiple Employers

The excess social tax withheld due to multiple employers does not appear as a tax credit on Line 11 of my Form 1040, Schedule 3.  Instead, it appears Turbo Tax is suggesting the employer made an error.  (I am getting a message saying you would need to contact the employer after I downloaded W-2s.)

Did you enter a different EIN for each of your employers when completing each W-2?

There must be a bug??  I downloaded two W-2s, using correct employer IDs, but I found that one ID was incorrect.
