estimated tax payments under non-primary taxpayer's name

I had to provide the total estimated tax payment I paid in 2019 for my 2019 tax return. The number I have does not match the record on EFTPS. I noticed that a few payments made under my wife's SSN (who is not the primary taxpayer) did not show up in the tax payment history on EFTPS. My question is did the IRS receive those payments and can I still use the number I have even if it does not match EFTPS record? Thank you.

If you file jointly with your spouse, the estimated tax payments made under your spouse's name and SSN can be counted on your joint return.

Thank you so much. A following question is how can I prove that? My wife received notification for each payment. However, Eftps does not show those payments at all. Thank you.

Just keep all your records and paperwork if the IRS ever asks.  Like copies of your bank statements or whatever showing the payments.

@Hardway

The EFTPS  accounts can be opened by a couple or a single person ... the spouse may have their own account on top of the joint one you have ... so you have to log in separately to look at both accounts to see who paid what for what  and when.  The system will marry the payments on a jointly filed return but they will  not thru the EFTPS system.

And always keep a print out of the receipt of payment for your records as you may need it in the future.

@Critter Thank you for your input. I am confused by your answer. I forgot how I register My EFTPS account. But it definitely shows both my and my wife's name. So I believe it is an account for a couple married filing jointly. Am I missing something? Thank you.

My mistake ... you can have a joint EFTPS account  however your spouse may have also opened up their own account and paid that way ... you say she has receipts ... review them.
