I had to provide the total estimated tax payment I paid in 2019 for my 2019 tax return. The number I have does not match the record on EFTPS. I noticed that a few payments made under my wife's SSN (who is not the primary taxpayer) did not show up in the tax payment history on EFTPS. My question is did the IRS receive those payments and can I still use the number I have even if it does not match EFTPS record? Thank you.
