Enter any federal, state, or local estimated tax payments by
entering estimates
paid in the search box and using the Jump to link.
Your state and local tax payments are automatically transferred
to your state return. We’ll also use them to determine whether you’d benefit
from itemized deductions instead of a standard deduction.
You can also use the following step by step
instructions ( see the screenshots below:(
- Log
onto TurboTax.
- Select
on the blue Pick up where I left off button.
- On
the left navigation bar, click on Federal.
- Click
on the Deductions & Credits tab.
- You
may need to click on All tax breaks.
- Scroll
down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, click on Show more.
- At Estimated
Tax Payments, click Start.
- Scroll
down to enter your Federal estimated taxes for 2018 (Form 1040ES),
click Start.
- Repeat
this for State and Local estimated taxes for 2018.
- Continue
with the onscreen interview until complete.
