Estate Final 1041 Filing

We are close to closing probate and issuing the beneficiary payout. Since this will occur in the middle of 2024, when do I file the final 1041? Is there a short-year filing?

Does the estate have income of $600 or more? If not no 1041 is required to be filed.

If you need to file you file by the 15th day of the 4th month following the close of the tax year per instructions
