energy credit confusion

Readubf about the new energy credits, everything I find seems to say the limit is 3200 and there is no lifetime max. 

yet when i do this section in TT under deductions-home) it says the limit is $500 and asks me for all energy credits received since 2005.

what am i missing here?

The IRS Form 5695 Residential Energy Credits for tax year 2023 has not been finalized in the TurboTax program.

The Form 5695 for tax year 2023 is scheduled to be available on 01/17/2024 (subject to change)
