E-file submit failure

I have been using TT since 2016.  I went through all the steps to e-file including tax forms, security input, etc.  I submitted my return last week without any errors indicated.   I waited several days and decided to check to make sure the return was received.  TT says no e-file was submitted and IRS has sent no confirmation.  I have e-filed successfully before.  Thanks for any advice.

Yes, I had to spend 3-1/2 HOURS with an EXCEPTIONAL "Tax Expert" who wouldn't give up when my account CLEARLY showed I had a free e-State File, & had to argue with her manager to finally get "approval", when the manager was that DENSE & STUBBORN to finally admit I should not have had to pay for a State e-file.  Still, I have to wait for a REFUND, as Turbotax's system is so totally screwed up, that is created this living horror, would not allow a work-around to just get the return submitted without charge!  

 

This is so typical of Turbotax's total incompetence, mis-programming, & the low quality agents that it employs, who, for the most part, can't handle something that this fabulous Rayshell was persistent enough to work with a stiff, rigid, & clueless manager to finally put through - BUT I have to wait for the refund.  I've had it with Turbotax.

When you say "TT says no e-file was received", was this via our online e-file status check or did you speak with a representative over the phone @ctmsenior .

You misquote me.  I NEVER STATD, as you put in paratheses, "TT says no e-file was received."

 

My ACCOUNT showed in more than several places that I had a Premier w/State e-file included.  The Turbotax system is such a messed-up program, that it would not recognize the free State e-file, and neither her, nor her manager, after spending HOURS on the phone, trying very possible way to get it to go through as it should have, without me paying $25 for the State e-file.  Now, I have to wait for a refund to be issued, which could take an unknown amount of time, & I fear that it will not be "approved" & I won't get it, & will have to spend more hours getting them to issue the refund.  If I did not get this completely-determined Tax Expert, who promised she will get that refund to me if she has to go to further lengths to do so.  She promised me in no uncertain terms that she will keep in contact me with, & keep the Case No. open until this is accomplished.
