Could you please clarify which form you are not able to fill out?
The form that I have been filing out for years for the state of Kentucky was Form 765 for the LLET tax.
After being on phone calls for over 2 hours with Turbo Tax professionals and being told that they could not find an answer to my question I terminated the call. I then called the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet and within 5 minutes found out that the form 765 which Turbo Tax had been having me fill out for 5 years was not required. I will now have to file amended state tax returns for the 4 allowable years to have the tax paid with the form refunded. Needless to say Turbo Tax will now be history for my tax work.
Did you register your partnership with the state? The LLET form is necessary when the business is registered as an LLC. If you never registered the LLC, (an unincorporated partnership), then Form 765 is not needed.
