TurboTax Deluxe Online does not support Form 8949. Only Premier and Self-Employed will support that form. When you enter capital asset sales or exchanges in TurboTax, the software automatically generates Form 8949 and transfer the info to Schedule D, which is only supported in Premier and Self-Employed online versions.
You can use the Deluxe desktop version and it will support Form 8949 and Schedule D. But Premier will still be the better product for any investment sales you need to report. That version will provide extra help with your capital gains and losses for stocks and bonds and guide you through cost basis calculations. You can find desktop version here https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
And these product guides will also help with determining which product will work best for you.
I don't see the form 8949 in my 2020 deluxe desktop version? There is an option that asks if the cost basis is incorrect and allow to enter a new cost basis different than what is on the 1099-B, but does this do the same thing as the adjusted basis column on the 8949?
