Did my credit card payment go though even though my e-file was rejected?

I e-filed my taxes but ultimately, it was rejected. Before I submitted, I had opted to pay my dues through turbo via credit card and I see in my bank statements that although my file was not successful,  the money has still been taken out in the amount of my dues and is currently authorized/pending. With help from a friend, my taxes were successfully e-filed through another online service (not turbo) and I now have the option to pay my dues through a third-party online service after the fact. I want to know if turbo has ACTUALLY approved and processed my payment. I want to know if my payment is valid and if it will go through. I want to know since I e-filed through another service, are my taxes still payed or do I need to pay through the third-party and, if so, is the money service through turbo going to return my funds? Currently, I am being waitlisted on the phone with turbo and its been over 1 hour and I still can not get through to a person. Also, during refiling with the other online service, I discovered that I was missing a tax form and, after adding it, my tax dues are now raised (incase this is important).

If your TurboTax e-file was rejected, it's as if you never filed at all.  That's from the IRS standpoint.  So you should've made arrangements for payment of any taxes due through the new filing service.

Since you actually e-filed using TurboTax, your charges will stay and go through on your credit card.

But since you decided to use another service, you may find a Customer Service rep that will agree to refund your TurboTax fee.  (I'm not especially hopeful, because TurboTax did fulfill their part of the agreement).  Nevertheless, it's worth a shot to try.  Use the info I'm linking below to contact TurboTax Customer Service.  Explain your situation and maybe they can help.
