Did a one time only construction bid, how do I claim it without a 1099 misc.

It is not an ongoing business. And also Inez, my wife, did babysitting for a fee w/o any W-2 or 1099 misc.  How do I enter it

Here are the steps to enter income from cash, personal checks or credit card payments:

Type “Schedule C” in the Search box (upper right of program) and then select the “Jump to” link.

This will take you to where you can enter any cash, personal checks or credit card payments (Form 1099-K).

Select "Add another line of work"

You may be asked some general questions about the income. After you answer them, you’ll be taken to the where you can enter this income as Additional Income.
