I'm using Turbo Tax Desktop (Windows). I have entered information for my 2 children (dependents). They are citizens, have lived with me the whole year, have no income.
On the Personal Info tab in Turbo Tax under dependents, it shows me some text in red that says "We need you to review some questions about your dependents". When I click edit, I see a table with my two children including their name, DOB, Relationship, and Status. The "Status" column says "No Entry" for both of them. When I entered them, I selected "US citizen or legal resident" for their Citizenship Status. I have tried edit each of them and answering all of the questions. I have deleted and re-entered them. But it's always still in the above state. Is this a bug? Is it supposed to work this way? I have used TT for years and have never run into this before.

Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment. If your child was born in 2024 make sure you said he lived with you the whole year. There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
Thanks, I have done all of that. I carefully read through each question to make sure the answers are correct. It still shows "No entry" under the Status column for each child, as well as the red review text on the main personal info screen. What is the STATUS column anyway? The only question that seems related is the "Citizenship Status" drop down, and I have selected the correct answer (they are us citizens).
Thanks for your help.
I have never heard of this issue, have you entered everything needed in your section? Have you entered your state of residence?
The only "status" for a dependent seems to be "Citizen Status" and "Marital Status"
Please switch to FORMS located on the top right corner
When in Forms, look at the "Dependent Wks" to see if anything is missing
(If anything is missing, it will be in red)
Please look to see if there are more than one worksheet for each child, and if there is, delete the duplicate.
