Dear Turbo Tax.
For the last 2 years I have been unable to file my CT state tax forms electronically. This is because I was missing a form that Turbo Tax does not supply...So it's not my fault. Do I get 2 State Tax Return Credits for future use as a result. Not being able to file thru the Internet is a major pain in the butt!! This also prevents transmission of my Federal Tax forms. Why should I continue to be a loyal customer?

Did you use desktop software and pay the state e-file fee? If so, contact customer support for a refund of the state e-file fee. If you used online TurboTax you did not pay more to e-file the state return. With online, the fee is the same whether you e-file or mail the return in an envelope.
And....there is no reason that an inability to e-file state would prevent you from e-filing your federal return. Only the opposite would be true. If you cannot e-file the federal, you cannot e-file state. So ....if you were unable to e-file your federal return, it was due to some other problem. It has nothing to do with your state e-filing issue.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
