My wife became disabled while working for OPM. We received a CSA 1099R with Block 2a and UNKNOWN and Block 7 (3-Disability) which has been the same as last year and all prior year. Turbo is trying to put her wages in Line-1 of the 1040, which in turn messes with the state docs. Any information of the proper way to correct this would be greatly appreciated.

To clarify, are you saying that the same situation occurred for your 2020 tax year but the income was reported differently?
Is she under "Minimum retirement age"?
According to the IRS:
"If you retired on disability, you must include in income any disability pension you receive under a plan that is paid for by your employer. You must report your taxable disability payments as wages on line 1 of Form 1040 or 1040-SR until you reach minimum retirement age. Minimum retirement age is generally the age at which you can first receive a pension or annuity if you aren’t disabled."
She is under retirement age (58) OPM's retirement age is 62yo. We have had a CPA do out taxes as of 2001 and this year we are going it alone. Her OPM disability pay shows on line 5b added with my Military Retirement on the 2020. It just struck me odd that this year it looked different.
Great info, I feel better already. Wish I had done this 10 days ago instead of reading about a million post that did not fit my situation. Thank for the info
