SAME FOR LINE 2f  "SECTION 897 CAPITAL GAINS"  FOR $5,291

When entering the Form 1099-MISC, check the box labeled My form has other info in boxes 1-18.  Box 8 will then be available.

There is not a box 2f on a Form 1099-MISC.  Are you referring to another tax forms for box 2f?
