When Turbo Tax redirected me to Intuit to pay for the State Tax filing, I accidentally typed in the wrong credit card expiration date, so the payment was rejected, and I was told to try again. I realized my mistake and the second time it took my credit card. However, when going back into Turbo Tax, it said my payment had been rejected and wouldn't let me file. I thought, that's strange, it said it took it, but maybe something went wrong so decided to pay again with a different card. It took the payment, and I came back into Turbo Tax and was able to finish efiling my federal and state tax returns. Now I see in my email where both credit card payments were accepted so I paid $40 for the State filing! How do I request a refund? I don't want a lot of hassle over $20, but they definitely have a bug in their system, and I'd like my $20! Thanks!

Thanks, but ended up being a frustrating waste of 40 minutes when I called this morning. Explained exactly what happened and just kind of went around in circles with the agent after that with him saying he couldn't see the transaction even though I gave him the exact date and afternoon in which it happened and advised the two credit cards charged. Given what I heard this morning, I'm concerned now that Turbo Tax / Intuit even has any of my confidential information! After 40 minutes, he was saying he was trying to do the refund, but it wasn't going through, so he gave me a case # and said he was sure it'd be done in 30 minutes. It's now been hours with still no credit, and I doubt I'll see it. I'm not happy with Intuit at all, but for $20, I'm not setting on the phone for another go around like I had this morning!
