"Charge my credit card" pop-up not working - Desktop version of Turbotax Deluxe

The "Charge my credit card" pop-up is not working when I go to pay for charges when filing on my Desktop version of Turbotax deluxe. All of the links are dead and it will not take me where it says.

I called and the staff knows nothing about this. Just fix the software so I can e-file. This is complete garbage.

Have you checked your software to make sure it is up to date?

yes, it is updated. Customer service yesterday: "try tomorrow"

I found a way to make it load, sort of.. If I click the "charge my credit card window" link then close my computer and open it again, it loads. I did that for every section of that payment pop-up window process and managed to make it through.  @Cara

Thank you for this information. It worked for me.  But what a PITA!  I must have opened and closed my computer at least a dozen times to finish my payment and be able to file my returns. That meant logging in at least a dozen times. But it's done and I appreciate you sharing your "fix".

Most of the time the window that opens is blank, sometimes I get the writing and the "submit" button that does not work.  I tried opening and closing my lap top, did not work for me.   Either blank or submit button still not working.

Question, did you close it on the dialogue box that says it needs to save your return, or after the next non working page comes up?

I am not going to pay the $40 extra  to have it pulled from my return.  This is something that needs to be fixed ...please!

Don't know if it makes a difference, but mine is a California return.

Ok.  10 minutes later I try again.  Not sure what worked...I waited for the window to load...then moved it to another monitor...then waited a minute or so...and the submit button worked.  Maybe it is just slow loading...not sure if the second monitor had anything to do with it.

You should first make sure that you have all of your pop-up blockers disabled.  Then you need to clear your cache and cookies.

So we're clear, this is specific to the desktop version. After clicking "Charge my credit card" the pop-up window would open, I would close my laptop, re-open it and sign-in the laptop. Turbotax and the pop-up window would still be there but the "continue" link/button would now work. The next screen would load after clicking it. I filled in all of the boxes but none of the text would appear when I typed. After filling everything in I repeated closing and reopening my laptop. The text would then be filled in and the subsequent "continue" button" would work. It was tedious but I wasn't getting any help from turbotax... @Flamer @RobertB4444

That worked for me...sort of.  

Although I use Chrome as my default browser, and never use MS Edge, the window did not function until I disabled my popup blocker in Edge.

Disable your main internet browsers pop up blocker before getting to the payment page. Mine is chrome, as soon as I disabled it the payment page works fine.
