To change my address with the IRS, I know I must use Form 8822. However, I am confused as to where to mail it once I fill it out. I live in one of the 50 states - Pennsylvania, so according to the instructions cover sheet, I am supposed to send the form where I filed my most recent income tax return. However, I filed my most recent income tax return electronically using TurboTax, so I am confused where to mail Form 8822 to. Does anyone know please? Thanks

Hi yes I saw page 2 already. Doesn't the cover sheet page super cede page 2 though?
If you checked the box on Line 2, then I suppose it would, but for you, in PA, it would be the same address.
I would not check Box 2. However, my understanding is the cover sheet telling me to send the Form where I last filed my returns, which were filed electronically, super cedes page 2.
Doesn't the cover sheet super cede the info on page 2? Thanks
Use the address in the above answer ... it is correct.
I had recently tried to change my address from 618 N. Collett St , Lima Ohio 45805 to 1026 N. Central Avenue , Lima Ohio 45801. I'm not sure if it had gone through and I do not know where to go to check it. I keep running in to crazy non-sense that I do not understand. Please humar an OLD LADY. Thank You , Mary F. Northern

@Doubleb922, did you need to change your address with the IRS?
How do you down load the form 8822?or where do I look for the form?
You can always fill it out online and then print and mail it.
