I just found out that I was enrolled through a supposed "broker" back in December of '23 for myself, not my kids. My husband carries insurance on all of us. I do not have an application filled out on healthcare.gov. I have been on the phone all day trying to figure out how I was enrolled in this policy and how to find this 1095-A form. I am praying that this can get fixed. I did not sign up for insurance for just myself when I have insurance already and if I had I sure would have used it so I wouldn't have had to pay out of pocket for the surgery that I had last year.

If you have a Form 1095-A you will need to enter it on your tax return, as the IRS will have a copy of it and expect to see it on your tax return. Normally, you would pay a monthly premium though, so if you didn't do that maybe the insurance was not in force.
I did not pay a monthly premium. But the problem is that I did NOT sign up for the insurance. I have insurance through my husband's employer.
