Capital gain from sale of two family home

I followed the above instructions for the sale of the rental unit. During the interview, there are these two questions.

"Was this asset included in the sale of your main home?"

"Was the rental portion a separate dwelling unit from the home you lived in?"

You suggested to "Pretend that the two parts aren't next to each other. :)" Should I answer "No" to both of these questions? Thanks.

No to the first.  Yes to the second.  The question refers to situations like renting a room in your house.

I answered "No" to the first question, and there was no second question after that. On the Sales Information page, there are entries for:

"Sales Price (Business Portion Only)"
"Sales Expenses (Business Portion Only)"

Does that seem right?
