cannot file W-2 electronically

Hello, Asking this question for a friend. She is not working and does not have any W-2. She used turbotax but couldn't file electronically because of I guess no income. She has efiled last year and nothing has changed. why she cannot efile? any solution?

If your friend did not work and had no income what did she try to enter on an income tax return?  Why is she trying to file?

If for some reason she wants to file with no income she has to add a dollar of interest income to enable efiling.

That makes sense. So, if as person doesn't have any income, there is no need to file tax, correct? thanks
