Cancel my taxes

If you have filed your 2023 tax return it cannot be canceled.

If you have not filed your 2023 tax return, you can clear the return.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2023 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

Did you already submit your return?  If so, they cannot be cancelled.  It is like you dropped them in the mailbox.  If you made a mistake on them, then you can Amend Your Return.

If you have not yet filed, you can hit clear and start over if you have not paid yet.

If you paid, you would need to delete each entry to remove everything.
