I recently filed my taxes with TurboTax. I paid for the filing fees but was not allowed to sign and file my returns without paying the balance of my state and federal taxes that I owe. I want to make payment arrangements but was only allowed to make payment arrangements for federal. I need to make payment arrangements for state not federal.
I would like to speak to a representative. My number is [phone number removed].

They are available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday - Friday.
If you need to make payment arrangements to pay your state tax due you will need to contact your state. TurboTax cannot do that for you.

Ok, but why is it that I can’t skip down to file and sign without paying my taxes that I owe first?
Maybe it wants you to pay the Turbo Tax fees first to file or print. For a tax due you can say you will mail a check then pay it later whenever you want. But if you pay a tax due after April 15 they might send you a bill for interest and penalty.
@VolvoGirl and others.
From the first answer from sweetiejean(an early filer when state forms are not yet ready) this is one of the old questions stupidly dumped in here to make it look like they are getting traffic..Sigh.
The original poster must think we are idiots if he is getting notifications.
Oh right. But he did just post again in August. So that is a current one. Sounds like he's still having problems.
@dedric01 We don't understand. Are you still trying to file your original 2018 return? Maybe you accidentally efiled the actual return instead of just the extension?
You can double check your efile status here
