Can someone else pay for my taxes?

My mother is going to pay my tax liability from last year. Is it possible for her to either: mail a check directly? Direct debit from her own bank account? Charge her credit card? How?

Or would she have to give the money to me so I can pay myself?

Your mother would have to have your tax return, so she could enter the information that the IRS requires.

If Mom is willing to pay, you could have her get a money order in your name and mail it with the payment voucher.
