Can I use Turbo Tax to report income from investment income without a 1099-B when I need to fill out form 8949 directly?

I partially divested my ownership of my firm by selling some of my share back to the firm. I know the basis and the long-term gain. However, my firm does not issue a 1099-B.

Yes, if you want to enter information directly on the form, you would need to use the desktop/download version as the online version does not allow you to enter information on the forms directly.

You can also enter your investment income even without the 1099-B following the same steps as you would with a 1099-B in hand.

Where do I enter or import a 1099-B?
