Can I upgrade my Turbotax premier to Turbotax business?

No, you can upgrade from Premier to Self-Employed or Home & Business (desktop version) but TurboTax Business is not a personal tax product.  What kind of tax return are you trying to file?  You may not need TurboTax Business.

Go to this TurboTax website for the Business Edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes/

The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer, not on a Mac or online.

The Business Edition cannot be used to complete a personal tax return, Form 1040.

You do not need TurboTax Business to file a Schedule C.   @Gerrylynn   If you need to file a Schedule C with your personal tax return, you can upgrade TurboTax to:

• TurboTax Self-Employed if using Online
• TurboTax Home & Business if using desktop software - although you can use Premier in the desktop version to prepare a Schedule C.
