You can download the desktop software to up to five computers that YOU  own---- but you will need help from customer support because the downloads are specific to Windows and Mac---you will need both Windows and Mac downloads.   (If you get hold of a support rep who gives you a hard time, request a supervisor.)

Yes.  Since you now have to log into an Intuit Account all your downloads and licenses are listed there (even if you bought it from somewhere else) so if you need to download to install it again or install on another computer, even on the other operating system (Windows, Mac).

You can download both Windows and Mac with your purchase.

if you are installing on multiple computers to get around the IRS limit of 5 e-filings without registering, you are violating the tax laws.
