If you are an employee you have to get a W2 for any amount. Even $1. Did they take any taxes or withholding out of your pay?
Sounds like that might be self employment income.
You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.
How to enter income from Self Employment
You have to enter self-employment income as business income, not "other income." You do not need a form, but I don't think you can enter self-employment income without a form in Deluxe. You would have to upgrade to TurboTax Online Self-Employed, or use any edition of the CD/Download TurboTax software.
The employer is permitted to not provide a W-2 only if wages were under $600 and there was no withholding for income tax, Social Security tax and Medicare tax. It's extremely unusual for the requirements permitting the employer to avoid issuing a W-2 to be satisfied since most employees are subject to Social Security and Medicare tax withholding.
If you are instead self-employed and the company is your client, it's your responsibility to report self-employment income even if the client does not provide you with a Form 1099-MISC. Self-employment income is reported in the business section of TurboTax as described y VolvoGirl, not as Other income.
