Only if you receive Social Security benefits for disability, retirement or Supplemental Security Income, you are eligible to receive a stimulus payment without filing a return. Otherwise, you need to file a 2019 return (or if you have a 2018 return the IRS will information from that return if no 2019 return is filed.)
If you have not filed a 2019 return, or do not need to file a return, the TurboTax link below, is for anyone who has not filed a 2019 return or if you are not required to file a return, if you want to qualify for the stimulus money TurboTax just recently setup where you can file a simple return for the stimulus money. If you already filed a tax return:
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

Can you tell me how to change the way I’m to receive my stimulus package I accidentally put by mail but realized it gets deposited to my card I get my ssi benefit on can you tell me how to change that to the card and not to be mailed
If you have already transmitted, you cannot change the form. However the IRS is working on a portal that will allow taxpayers the opportunity to change/update how they will receive the economic payments. Here is a link to monitor the progress.
Can you still receive the stimulus, if you’re not on social security benefits, of any kind. Or filed since 2014. But my two small children received social security. Or will I just get the 500 for each kid?

IRS website for non-filer stimulus payments - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here
What if you owe like I do. How do I send direct deposit info if I'm not expecting a deposit?

Thanks, bluedeb. I tried that one, but It gives me "payment status not available" and I can't change anything.
The page also says:
Its leading me to believe that I need to file a 2019 tax return to update the info, but I'm not sure turbotax lets me fill in the info if I'm not expecting a refund, or if I can break script and add it anyway. Maybe if I owe and provide bank info for where they can get the money I owe them, it will work? I owe about 250 dollars, so the stimulus would be a gain if I can speed it up, by paying the irs first.
