Can I change my address while manually editing my W-2 if my address has recently changed?

I moved at the very end of last year and am not sure if it is okay that I change my address manually than what is written on my W-2?

Leave the address on the W-2 as received. The address on your tax return and the address on the W-2 do not have to match. People move all the time so this is not an issue with the IRS or a State.

You can leave the address on your W2 as is. Just make sure your mailing address is correct, so the IRS can contact you if necessary.
