Turbo tax will let me log into Charles Schwab and it then tells me that the files were downloaded successfully. But when I look there is no data in Turbo tax. When I hit continue it goes back and again asks me to log into Charles Schwab, and again it tells me the files were downloaded. but I do not see any data, It just keeps logging me back into Schwab and re-downloading...

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.

It definitely was due to lack of permission. I tried to do what you suggested but I could not find the local network access button. However, I tried to download the info again from Schwab and there was one extra upper corner question- something like: "allow access to all your contacts etc.". This time I said yes and the info came thru. The other times when I said no, it stated that I had successfully completed the task, but there was no data. But now I have it. I had to give more permission access as you suggested.
