Efiled federal tax return on 4/15/2019 why is the acceptance date 4/16/2019 it is late

electronic post mark is 4/16/2019 when i e filed on 4/15/19 is it late

If you sent it before midnight your time, it is not late, even though the official acceptance came today.  Also, even if it is late, you don't face any penalties if you don't owe tax.
