There is a continuing Bug in the AZ 140 form. Line 15 is to be populated by all non-Arizona Municipal tax-exempt Interest, usually from Bonds. There is an explanation statement that TurboTax automatically populates from the downloaded 1099-INT statements. The Explantation Statement does show the correct amounts (The non-Arizona Tax-Exempt interest less Bond Premiums) along with a lot of blank lines with a zero in the Amount column.
This quirk "could" be considered acceptable, if it wasn't for the fact that the amount TTax calculates and places in line 15 on the 140 form is 2-3 times higher than what is on the explanation statement. It is as if all of those blank lines have amounts taken from the 1099-INTs, does not show the amounts but totals them into the Line 15 total. So every year I have to override the TTax amount in line 15 and put in the correct amount.
This looks like an easy fix, if someone would just look at where Line 15 is pulling the amounts.
Oh, and the Explanation Statement itself says that it is feeding "Line B6". There is no line B6 on the AZ 140 form.
