What kind of issues are you having?
It appears that ORTWG is related to a 0.1% transit tax (i.e., 0.1% of your Oregon Wages) in Oregon.
This issue isn't solved.
On my 2023 W2, I have 3 entries in box 14 and only 2 of them match up on TT Deluxe.
OR PFML - Oregon Paid Family Leave, shows up in the category list.
OR STT WH - Oregon Statewide Transit Tax, shows up in the category list.
ORTWG - Oregon Taxable Wages - No Category offered in TT.
Box 14 is for informational use and may or may not contain information related to your tax return. In this case, it is not related to your return and you can just use other or not include the information.
In prior years we recommended the following, and that seemed to work out OK:
____________________________
"
In box 14 of your W-2:
1) For the lower $$ amount use the "Category" ORSTT W/H (the W/H actually stands for WithHolding)
2) For the larger amount....those are wages...my personal opinion is that they should not be listed at all...but for those select "Other not on above list".
Yes..the "default" Category selection that the software might make, that could cause problems for the box with the wages entry. "
ORTWG is Oregon Taxable Wages Earned, it is not the transit tax. That is 'OR STT WH'.
