Has anyone ever been under review for Federal Return?

Mine was accepted January 31st. Called on the February 24th and was told it's under review as of the 15th. No letter, no reson given. Just that it takes up to 45 days.  Also my state got pick for audit won't get that till May 5th they said.

I live in Maryland and I received my state refund 3 days after I filed and was approved. I didn't get the EIC because I made over the threshold for it. The only credit I received was the AITC. I have been under review since the 15th of Feb with no letter and no explanation but to just wait for the letter. I have been checking the website everyday since the rep told me that it could be there on or before 5 March. That is when my rent is due! I have been using Turbotax since 2013 and NEVER had this issue before. I am beyond frustrated because you are on hold for a long time to speak with someone and then they can't help you with specific answers about your money!

Who are you telling?!?! I lost my job in December...it has been slow for me to get a new one...so this money i was going to get was going to pay rent and utilities...I have children...when they told me this...it took my breath away...it seems that alot of people that filed with turbotax is under review! It seems alittle odd and I may have to inquire about getting another route to avoid this issue next year!

SEEMS LIKE  ALL OF US UNDER REVIEW USED TURBO TAX!!!!! I HOPE NO ONE USES THEM NEXT YEAR!!!! AND THE MESSED UP THINGIS YHEY CHARGED ME OVER 100 DOLLAR FEE!!!! SMH!!!!! They need to give me my money back AND everyone else too!!!! I'm still processing,  no state refund yet either!!!!!! I'm so frustrated and honestly even tho they said  45 days (April 1st) who really knows when they will come?????!!!!!!! After all this crap, I don't trust none of it!!!!!!!

@annaliesefoster yes it really mind blowing I can't stop stressing the fact I have been jobless since December (still looking) but both my cell phones r OFF I was depending on my taxes to catch up on bills and how is any employer supposed to call me with no phones..I'm a single mother of 2. I feel hopeless rite now. ITS NOT FAIR. We ALL need our money. I've never been through this. I'm trying my hardest not to breakdown. My son's r used to getting what they want now they looking at me like mom "What should we do". I never want my kids to see me stress but JESUS please let this review end and c how bad we need this money. It's not FAIR!

My sister filed through turbo tax and has 2 kids and got her federal back on the 22nd.... NOT COOL at all, next year I’ll be filing with someone else

When did she file, it looks like everyone that filed before 2-15-18 taxes r being reviewed....idk

So, now, my husband has made the same phone call that I made on Tuesday and they have told him something completely different than what they told me. I was told that we were randomly selected for review and to expect our refund within 45 days of Feb 15.  Husband calls and they tell him that it will be 45 days from the day that they send a letter (which has yet to be sent). They also told him that it is extremely rare for anyone to be randomly selected for review.... yet it looks like most of us here have been told that. Has anyone in this group actually gotten a letter?

They said they sent me a letter on 2/27.. haven’t received it yet, sounds like all the reps aren’t on the same page.. we’re all getting different answers

I am debating making a third phone call but my word, I spent half a day on that on Tuesday!
