American Rescue Plan Questions after Efiling But NOT yet PAID.

I efiled on 2/28/2021.  I owed taxes and was going to pay by mail in April.  I was also going to file and pay my NC taxes by mail.

Turbo Tax has now been updated with the fix for the unemployment money issue and I let it update my federal & state forms.

Do I just need to mail the revised 1040-V voucher from TurboTax with my payment to the IRS by May 17th and nothing else is required?

Do I just mail my revised D-400 and D-400V to the ND Department of Revenue by May 17th?

Yes to the IRS updated payment and voucher.

However, NC has not adopted the changes yet.  The "Unemployment benefit" exclusion at this time does not apply to NC.  You will still owe the original amount on the original voucher which includes the "Unemployment" income.
