Amended return

I only need to send changed forms with my amended return. How do I know what forms change when I amend my return.

You can e-file a 2021 amended return, TurboTax would send all the forms needed to process your amended return.

If you mail in your amended return, you need to include any forms that changed due to the amendment.  EX.

W-2, any Schedules, or 1099 forms etc.

Once you begin the amendment process, you'll see your original return. Only make changes to the areas of your return that need amending. This should help you figure out what to print and send in, otherwise you can send the entire form to be safe. Please see the information in this TurboTax FAQ here for assistance. Processing times for amended state returns vary from state to state.
