Good Morning,
I am having trouble with the AGI section before submitting my taxes. I keep getting rejected even though I am inputting the right AGI number from last year. Can you please help? Do I need to use the same PIN I used last year as well?

There is a possibility that the IRS does not have your 2020 AGI in their database.

Enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.

I tried several times to efile.  I get the same error message... AGI not correct.  I even went to the IRS IDme and got a transcript of our 2020 fedeeral return.  The AGI shown on their document is the same one I have tried to use.  No luck.. can someone help me?

ENTER 0 FOR AGI. The IRS took a long time last year to process 2020 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time.  Especially if you mailed it.  That works for most people. See,

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
