After 5 unsuccessful attempts to e-file my returns, I changed my password as suggested by this site to update the app. Still unsuccessful. What works?

What is your reject code? Are you filing and getting the return rejected? There may be something additional that must be fixed on your return.

Your password has little to do with it.

unsuccessful attempts to log in to my account. I received an email confirming my password change but when tried to log in the new password was not accepted. Other time I was told that the login was wrong. Please confirm that now the new login [removed] and the password is [removed]

I never got a reject code.

all the email said "your Federal tax return was rejected" "let's fix it" . But I couldn't log in to fix it.

@monimolnar  This is a Public user form.  Better Edit your post and remove your username and password.  The whole world can see it and steal your identity and get into your account and scam you etc.  It is not safe.
