Hi,
I'm having the same issue as the person above. I am not using turbo tax online.
Jen
The rep walked me through the steps to clear cache/cookies (I forget), but it worked - I think there are instructions for doing this online. I'll see what I can find...
If you are on a windows machine, search for delete browsing history in the search bar at the bottom. It opens an Internet Properties dialog box. The General tab should be open. At the top of it is a Browsing history section. Click the Delete... button. A new window opens. I left "Cookies" alone, but I cleared Form data, and that did it.
If that doesn't work, maybe try deleting the temporary files as well, but I thought form data was it. (I'm trying to remember!).
I am using TurboTax Premere desktop version. Each time I enter the Acorns 11-digit document ID without spaces, I get a recurring message to enter the Acorns 11-digit document ID without spaces, and it never gets past it.
Also Affirm (criss River Bank) does not show up for import. This years changes to the software for "Pulling in your investment income" are very confusing. It skips these banks, then I see no way to enter them un the next steps.
One Finance as well Acorns, Affirm and One Finance all successfully imported last year
Try turning off anti-virus programs. Here's How to Turn Off Anti-Virus Programs.
Make sure you're not running other programs in the background.
Here's how to do a Manual Update.
@Tgrapes I had the same trouble repeatedly. Then I tried using uppercase letters - even though it says it's not case sensitive. Voila! It pulled Acorns data.
Wow, That worked! Thanks for getting back to me! TurboTax sure hasn't as.I reported this days ago.
@Tgrapes Yep - I was at my wits end googling for an answer when I thought, "Why not try it?" Maybe they'll see this and fix the issue... very simply, by just saying that the doc ID is indeed case sensitive.
TurboTax programmers? Anyone out there? Easy fix!
Enter your account number as normal and then for the document ID press (caps lock) and enter your doc ID number with caps lock on.
Hope it works for you as well, it worked for me.
