How do I claim my cousin as a dependent?

I am filing as Head of Household and they are asking for my relationship with my qualifying dependent (aka my cousin). However, there is no option for cousin as a relative. What do I do?

If your cousin qualifies per the information below, you can select "Other" from the drop down box.

A cousin cannot qualify you for HOH.

The simple answer is that your cousin is not closely enough related to you to be considered a relative.  They are treated as any person who is not related to you, so choose Other.
